Become a VOLUNTEER

There are many ways to volunteer at SSASS...
  • as an adaptive ski or snowboard Instructor
  • board or committe member
  • key program coordinator or assistant
  • assist at on-hill or other race or fund raising events.
Snow Sports Instructors are Certified SSASS Instructors or Instructor Assistants. Certified Instructors are persons with strong snow sports skills who apply and take basic training through SSASS to work with persons with disabilities. Further training is available and Certified Instructors earn lesson credits which are used to reduce or eliminate the cost of a lift pass.

All volunteers and other participants in SSASS are required to maintain a current DSABC membership.

The Board of Directors meets monthly and maintains a number of committees; an excellent way to contribute while getting acquainted with SSASS. Other volunteers coordinate or assist with programs or other organizational roles. Contact our Board President to find out how you can get involved.
