Arrival Time

By now you should have coordinated the lesson times with your instructor. Typically lessons start at 9:00 or 1:00 and go for 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Try to arrive 30 minutes early. It takes time to set up equipment, especially sit skis.

Drop Off and Parking

There is a drop off zone outside our doors. (See map) If you need handicap parking it is also available nearby, but moves around from year to year (currently east of the Bulldog Hotel parking lot). If you need help getting your self or your student to the SSASS room, let your instructor know. We have various ways and means of assisting you to the door.

Warm Clothing

Wear warm clothing, particularly a head covering, like a belaclava, that fits under a helmet. Bring hand warmers for your hands and feet. We usually have some available in case you forget. Layer your clothing and wear a warm, windproof jacket and pants. We have changing rooms in the building.

Lift Pass

Once you have spoken to your instructor you can buy your lift pass in the village. Your instructor will help you decide which level of pass to purchase based on the lifts you will be skiing. Remember to bring your BC Adaptive membership as Silver Star Mountain Resort generously grants you 50% discount on yout ticket when you present your membership.

We have coffee, tea and hot chocolate as well as a microwave.
