Donations and Our Organization Costs
Even though we are a volunteer run organization- we face a myriad of costs to run our programs:
- Room maintenance
- Insurance
- Equipment purchase and maintenance
- Instructor training and certification
- Instructor lift tickets
- Association fees
- Bursaries for students needing financial assistance to participate
As a registered Charitable Society SSASS is entirely funded by donations, so your donations big and small help us continue to offer programs to make snow sports accessible.

Vital Statistics
SSASS has been helping to make snow sports accessible at SilverStar Mountain Resort since the 1990's. Our volunteers donate thousands of hours each year to ensure SSASS can continue to operate, even through the challenges of COVID SSASS continued to provide hundreds of snow sport lessons to locals and visitors.
